Carley (Richardson) Cervi is known for being a quiet, consistent and dominating force in the sport of barrel racing since she came onto the scene as a standout high school sensation and eventually that momentum into two trips to the National Finals Rodeo as an adult.

On this episode of The Money Barrel Podcast, Cervi shares some of the knowledge she has picked up since her days as a dominating youth barrel racer and the tips she uses to train champion barrel horses and the next generation of champion barrel racers through her teaching efforts.

About Carley Cervi

Carley (Richardson) Cervi is a two-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, finishing No. 13 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Standings in 2015 and No. 15 in 2016. She was just outside the Top 15 in 2018 at 16th and was the Prairie Circuit Finals champion in 2017.

Originally from Pampa, Texas, Cervi resides in Roggen, Colorado, with her husband Chase, who runs Cervi Championship Rodeo Company with his family. Cervi is known for training the horses that excel for her in rodeo, including Doda Flit, aka “Radio,” the horse she won the International Finals Youth Rodeo barrel racing in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on when he was 5 and she was 17. Several years later, Radio carried Cervi to her first NFR.
