Competitive Edge
Welcome to the competitive edge, where the folks at Barrel Racing Magazine have gathered up the best tips on training, health, tack and more from the best barrel racers in the planet. Our coaches at BarrelRacing.com include World Champion Jordon Briggs, Ivy Saebens, Shali Lord, Andre Coelho, Molly Powell, Cheyenne Wimberley, Carley Cervi and more.
This team is diverse. We have younger trainers with new styles like Ivy Saebens, international phenoms like Andre Coelho, and old-school champions who can still win in modern barrel racing like Molly Powell and Cheyenne Wimberley. Part of the team features champion futurity trainers like Carley Cervi. Jordon Briggs brings a lifetime of expertise, along with her world-renowned colt starter and husband Justin Briggs. Briggs shares how to start colts from the beginning to the time you run them on the barrels.
Our team of barrel racing coaches is not limited to the star-studded lineup, because we also feature stories and interviews from the barrel racers who are out on the rodeo trail, competing in professional barrel racing. They share with readers how they win. This ranges from the best bloodlines, to the best conditioning tactics, to the best equipment and so much more.
